Cancer and Careers
Cancerandcareers.org is a great resource for patients who are planning to work through treatment or are heading back to work after treatment. The website addresses issues such as:
- Maximizing job security
- Sharing news with co-workers
- Using nutrition and fitness to ward off fatigue
- Reducing workplace stress
- Disability and family leave laws
- Handling workplace discrimination
- How to explain time off on your resume
The website also provides many great resources like charts, checklists and free publications that can be downloaded right to your computer.
