Cancer and Careers

Cancerandcareers.org is a great resource for patients who are planning to work through treatment or are heading back to work after treatment. The website addresses issues such as:

  • Maximizing job security
  • Sharing news with co-workers
  • Using nutrition and fitness to ward off fatigue
  • Reducing workplace stress
  • Disability and family leave laws
  • Handling workplace discrimination
  • How to explain time off on your resume

The website also provides many great resources like charts, checklists and free publications that can be downloaded right to your computer.
